When will Made in Abyss Season 2 be released? The series, also known in Japanese as Meido in Ebisu, is a dark fantasy anime series based on a manga series of the same name.
Manga Made in Abyss written and illustrated by Akihito Tsukushi, the manga series was first published on October 20, 2012, Nearly half a decade after its publication.
An anime studio named Kinema Citrus adapted the manga’s story into the next anime, the first season airing on July 7, 2017.

When Will Made in Abyss Season 2 Anime Release?

Made in Abyss the first season premiered on July 7, 2017, until it took place on September 29 in the same year, then several compilation films entitled Made in Abyss Movie 1: Journey’s Dawn or in Japanese entitled Made in Abyss: Tabidachi no Yoake and Made in Abyss Movie 2: Wandering Twilight or in Japanese entitled Made in Abyss Horo Suru Tasogare was released on January 4, 2019, and January 20, 2019, respectively.
The next film titled Gekijōban Made in Abyss: Fukaki Tamashii no Reimei premiered on January 17, 2020, with a hanging ending and hinted that there would be another sequel in Made in Abyss.
In addition, in the end, credits the film uses “To Be Continued” although the details about the update are still kept secret Kadokawa, which is the company involved, has confirmed that a second season is in the works.
Well, although there has been no announcement regarding the release date from this information, we can know that at least the Made in Abyss season 2 anime will be released and is in the process of being worked on.

Synopsis of Anime Made in Abyss
Made in Abyss tells the story of a giant hole that is steep and deep even into it has several layers of the giant hole called the “Abyss”.
The Abyss keeps various mysterious things in it with enchanting giant creatures, trees that look strange and all the scenery is amazing at the same time the Abyss in it stores a valuable relic which is often referred to as an Artifact.
Because being tempted by the things that have not been solved in it the humans try to explore its depths which until now there is very little information about it. And the brave humans who imitated this Abyss were known as “Delvers”.
Then the story moves to an orphaned girl named Riko, Riko lives in Orth City which is located on the edge of the abyss of the giant pit.
Riko has a dream to become a Delver like her mother who has obtained various legendary Artepak as a contribution of knowledge to mankind.
One day Riko begins to explore the Abyss when she accidentally finds a robot that resembles a human child. In short, the two of them become friends and decide to go down a field that has never been used before.
With this challenging adventure what will await them in this giant pit called the Abyss?
