When will the anime Ousama Game Season 2 be released? Ousama Game or “King’s Game” in English is an adaptation of the web novel by Nobuaki Kanazawa or Pakkuncho which was released in Japan in 2011.
Ousama Game has the main theme of fantasy which tells of a class that is suddenly terrorized by an SMS via their smartphone, the sender of the message refers to it as “King”.
The message instructs them to do as they are told. If the students in the class ignore it, they will get severe punishment, namely death.
In 2017 Seven Studios adapted this novel into anime, ending with a total of 12 episodes for the first season.

The first season aired on October 5, 2017, and ended in 2017, on its first debut this anime did not get enough popularity so MyAnimeList gave it a score of 5.04 where the current average score is 7.
This is very disappointing for studio Seven because fans prefer this Live Action anime and also respect the manga series.

It’s been almost four years since the continuation of the first season and the fans who maybe little by little have forgotten about this renewal of the sequel.
Even though at the end of the credit episode 12 of the first season it says “To Be Continued”, which means that the studio originally wanted to continue the renewal due to lack of interest in the anime Ousama Game The Animation season 2, it was forced to be put aside first.
We only hope that the anime can be rereleased in the following years, we predict season 2 of the anime Ousama Game will be released around 2025.
What is The Plotline of Ousama Game Season 2?
The previous season’s finale featured the extreme conditions for Ousama King Annihilation. After the game is over the audience sees Nobuaki’s mother reading a letter from her son.
The first season did show that the “King” game was starting up again but what it didn’t show was that all the high school students living in Japan were resisting participants.
The main characters in the anime are Tomohisa and Tomoka. Boubaki does play a minor role in this story due to the new characters, but the focus is on a group of new students.
After the national incident ended, the final match was planned on an island near Taiwan. Students from Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan are gathered for training when the Ousama Virus reappears.
The names of the main characters in the last book are Akio Sakamoto and Komatsuzaki Mika.
Even though the ending of the anime seems to point to the second season, studio seven could also adapt Natsuko’s story for Ousama Game season 2.
Its origin story is set 30 years ago in the remote village of Yonaki. The main character is Natsuko’s father, Honda Kazunari, and his lover a woman who is also named Natsuko.
And all of that will be realized when the anime season 3 of Osama game airs.
