Yotarou is a former Yakuza who just got out of prison. He decided to quit his life of crime, and he aspired to climb the Rakugo mountain.
Inspired while in prison by a Yakumo Yuurakutei practitioner, he decides to meet the man who changed his life principles.
After hearing Yotarou’s request for his guidance, Yakumo had no choice but to take Yotarou on as a student.
While eager to train, Yotarou meets Konatsu who is a rough young girl in Yakumo’s care.
With a hidden passion, Yotarou is drawn to her unique style despite learning contrasting techniques.
After this, Yakumo’s old memories and feelings begin to return, and reminisces about when he promised his biggest rival.
