He is assisted by his demonic servant Sebastian Michaelis who has very inhuman abilities. Ciel uses various means to get the job done.
In the past, Ciel Phantomhive experienced a secret tragedy, where he was enveloped by eternal darkness and made a contract with a demon that changed his life.
Ciel Phantomhive offers his soul to Sebastian if he dies, and Sebastian must assist him in completing revenge for the tragedy that befell him.
